Sunshine: Novelization
Through the panoramic viewing portal of the Icarus 2's observation room, the sun hovered against the void of space, softly glowing like a smoldering coal. Its orange light played in arcs off the spacecraft's metallic walls, and warmed the black leather bench on which the room's lone inhabitant was seated. He was a well-built man, with strong features and only a stubble of hair over his shaved head, casually dressed. Hands on his knees, he gazed pensively at the star floating before him.
"Icarus?" he questioned softly.
